Christmas card (2020).
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree.
During the run-up to Christmas, I decided it would be fun to make my own cards. It’s a fairly simple brief, the only thing I really thought was that I should avoid a lot of the cliché imagery associated with the holidays.
Ok, so a tree is kind of cliché, but the tree being made up of overlapping triangles representing CYMK? Genius, if I do say so myself; celebrating printing and Christmas unity at the same time!

Special cards, very special people.
For my parents, I kind of had to do something a bit more special. I found some lovely gold cardstock and got to work finding out just what I could get away with printing on to it with my decidedly cheap inkjet printer.
These cards took a lot more trial and error than the previous lot, if only because those were printed by a professional printer, and it wasn’t a painless process but the end result was worth it.
