The slightly awkward first attempt at creating a typeface.

Before Greater Together became Greater Together, I was trying desperately to make a really clever typographic mark. Pages and pages of ideas somehow lead me on to the path of a typeface that points to the left and right.

The typeface didn’t really suit the direction this project took (a Tutor said “It’s a bit too wipEout to make sense of a human issue”) but even as a rough sketch of a typeface it’s an engaging and dynamic font. Might be time to make it more than a rough sketch…
